Dr Bragan works at NASA on a mission to outer space. He has a mental breakdown, and takes a vacation in Japan. Bragan stays at a defunct hotel and begins a bizarre experiment in botany to prove his theory that humans evolved from plants. He creates a hybrid humanoid creature that requires the blood of mammals.
