The Choppers are five teenage delinquents, who prowl abandoned country roads, demolish cars, and sell the parts to a junkyard run by a fat sleazeball. Arch Hall Jr's creepy yet effervescent coolness gave him a certain star quality - even if only to shine in six flicks produced by his dad. The Choppers is the first of these quirky low-budget father-and-son collaborations.
