Roger, a Brit living in Japan marries his pregnant Japanese girlfriend in a phony ceremony. He runs into an American woman, who's in Japan trying to prove her dead brother wasn’t mixed up in opium smuggling. Roger gallantly offers his aid, but is up to no good. He must face the Japanese fate demon Unmei. An odd mix of crime and the supernatural.
