An attractive young white woman, is rushed by ambulance to a Parisian hospital where she has a healthy black baby. In flashbacks we follow her love story with a handsome black medical student, and fight with her strict parents. The film must have caused an uproar in the U.S. south, as this is a tale of genuine and consensual interracial love.
