Young Teeto and his betrothed Minta are attacked by giant vampire bats. The village decides to move. When they arrive to an inviting valley, an old man and a baby are sacrificed to the gods. There are sabotages, leopard, python and jaguar attacks. A combination of travel footage, a scripted story, native actors, and narration.
