Beatnik horror-comedy in which a waiter at a bohemian café becomes an acclaimed artist, when a plaster-covered dead cat is mistaken for a statuette. Soon the waiter has to kill to keep his art going. Strong parallels with Roger Corman's Little Shop of Horrors (shot on the same set).
